Our Story

Campfire Concierge was born from a simple observation: millions of people want to experience the outdoors, but barriers keep getting in the way. We built turnkey outdoor hospitality that removes every obstacle between you and an unforgettable night under the stars.

Every site is fully staged before you arrive. Beds are made, lights glow softly, essentials are arranged. It feels less like renting gear and more like checking into a hotel room surrounded by wilderness.

Michael Altman

Founder & CEO

Michael is a combat veteran and infrastructure strategist who spent over 20 years building systems that had to work: in war zones, in national healthcare, and inside global enterprises where failure wasn't an option. He's helped stabilize platforms behind the scenes at some of the world's most recognizable brands and led engineering efforts for programs serving millions. But the constant through all of it wasn't just the tech; it was people. Trust. Making sure someone had your back when it mattered.

He started Campfire Concierge not just from a love of the outdoors, but from a need to create space, real space, for presence, peace, and time with the people who matter most. As a partner and father, he knows how rare and fleeting those moments can be. And he builds every experience like he's building one for his own family: with care, foresight, and the quiet kind of service you only notice because everything just feels… right.

For Michael, this isn't a side project. It's a return to what matters: comfort, clarity, connection, delivered with the kind of care you don't always see, but always feel.

For over two decades, she built one of the most respected family-focused businesses in her region, a rare success in a rural community where consistency is hard-earned and trust even harder. Her ability to lead, adapt, and care at scale turned what started as a local operation into something foundational: a place families depended on, year after year.

That same mindset carried into her work in public service, where outcomes weren't abstract; they impacted lives. Her drive for operational excellence, clarity under pressure, and instinct for what people really need became defining traits. At Campfire Concierge, Haley builds every experience with those same values: make it seamless, make it feel personal, and make sure nothing important gets missed.
